PRICE

$1,197 per/ton (plus freight & GST)

Typical sizes: from 40kg to 100kg/ha

  • 40kg/ha minimum rate for regular use
  • 100kg/ha maximise grass/crop growth performance
  • 60-80kg/ha use at times of growth squeeze

APPLICATION

For Maximum Results (soil improvement, pasture nutrition & health) ideally incorporate BioFish™ N into the seasonal fertiliser programme during the biological transition – spread every 3 months at 150-180kg/ha.

Base Product Summary

  • Fish sourced from open ocean (no man made inputs, antibiotics)
  • Various species of fish- tuna, orange roughy etc
  • Seaweed & Molluscs
  • Soil biologicals brewed at factory and added to all product mixes
  • Biologicals- imported & MPI approved
  • All biologicals and baseline ingredients act together in recolonising & feeding soil microbiome
  • Fish protein- particularly effective with nitrogenous enzymes
  • Seaweed excellent multi mineral input with natural plant growth hormones & iodine
  • Biologicals increase the TDN for a richer, truer protein lift in pastures
  • Products Nitrogen release is friendlier to the soil, with less leeching
  • Granular for ease of application

Key Ingredients

  • 20% BioFish & BioSeaweed – biological baseline
  • 19 units biologicals
  • N, P, S – contains Urea & SOA

Measurable units per 100kg:

The unique differences of using BioActive Soils biological fertilisers

Biology

  • Natural and sustainable
  • Apply living microbes which stimulate nutrient energy
  • Encourages mycorrhizal fungi
  • Key macro and micro-nutrients added where required

Animal health

  • Improves animal health through high quality pasture and crops
  • Helps maximise animal production and weight gains
  • Introduces Omega 3, proteins, vitamins and essential fats to diet

Soil

  • Enhances soil structure
  • Promotes a healthy soil ecosystem and worm population
  • Works with soil- naturally
  • Increase humus and water retention

Plants

  • Doesn’t damage plants
  • Healthy, quality, nutrient dense plant growth
  • Promotes stronger plant root development
  • A healthy pasture naturally limits pest and weed pressure

Transitioning to biological fertilisers: a smarter path forward

BioNitron™ is designed to help farmers move away from high-nitrogen synthetic inputs like Urea, offering a tailored transitional product that supports a biological approach without compromising on pasture performance.

Used alongside BioFish N™, it helps restore soil health and resilience, rebuild and stimulate microbial life, and create stronger more nutrient dense pasture environments where your herd thrive- laying the foundation for lower-emission, lower-leaching fertiliser systems. The formulation delivers fast results in warming soils and is ideal for side-dressing during times of stress.

Independent herbage and soil testing guides how BioNitron™ is used on your farm, ensuring you get the right nutrients at the right time during your transition to a more biological programme.

Bridge the gap between urea and biology

BioNitron™ is a high-performing transitional fertiliser that helps dairy farmers reduce their reliance on synthetic nitrogen without compromising pasture growth. It combines biological inputs with a smaller amount of urea and SOA to support strong production while soil biology is being rebuilt.

It is ideal for farmers seeking to improve soil health, reduce nitrogen loss and runoff, and adopt a greener, more sustainable approach over time. When used alongside BioFish N, BioNitron™ helps restore microbial life in the soil, drive denser pasture growth and deliver more consistent nutrient release as soils begin to warm.

Granular for ease of application, BioNitron™ is also suitable for side-dressing under crop stress. It can be customised with trace elements based on herbage testing, providing flexibility during the transition to a fully biological system.

Our happy dairy clients

See how BioActive’s approach is delivering real results on real farms.

Dairy farmers using BioActive’s biological fertilisers are seeing strong results across production, pasture health and profitability. Many report better regrowth, reduced chemical reliance, and measurable improvements in output.

One example is Matt and Chrissy Bradfield, dairy farmers who recorded a 35% increase in milk solids within just two years of switching to BioFish™ N. That uplift has flowed through to improved milk quality, greater market value, and a more productive, profitable farm system overall.
