Spreading of pasture and crop paddocks can be challenging at times especially with respect to weather, paddock topography, stocking, and available equipment.

There are various ways and means to accomplish the objective which we are more than happy to accommodate. BioActive Soils has liaised with bulky spreading operations as well as helicopter and fixed-wing dispersing operations throughout Southland and Otago. We also have our own spreader unit which is towed behind a jeep-type unit, equipped with satellite tracking to ensure proper coverage of the paddock.

Should self-spreading be desired, we are happy to provide supply-only land dressings utilizing the freight company of your choice. If a spread is required after a crop paddock has been sown, we are able to accommodate “offset spreading” with our BioActive Soils unit. This process is generally arranged with the field consultant when the job is commissioned.
