Seed Coating - BioActive Soils

Seed Coating – The continuous application of chemical fertiliser and other agrochemicals has largely contributed to the elimination/depletion of beneficial soil microorganisms which has farmers struggling to sustain high productivity on virtually ‘dead soils’. Further addition of chemicals, fertilisers and otherwise, on degraded soils, depleted of microorganisms and associated organic matter are leading to the inability to retain the nutrients required to grow suitable crops. Biological Nitrogen Fixation by way of inoculation with rhizobia and Azotobacter allows atmospheric nitrogen to be captured, converted and made available to the soil and plants, enhancing their growth and ability to compete with undesirable pasture plants. Our seed coating preloads the plants with these nitrogen-fixing microbes to give them a head start to beat the weeds.
